The Purpose of this Site
The Primary is not where challengers to an incumbent should be sorted out. The purpose of this site is to provide a forum for potential challengers and concerned voters to determine who would be the best candidate to run against an incumbent in order to maximize the possibility of primarying them! Come back regularly to make use of this capability as it is built out.
2022 will be here before we know it, so preparations need to begin soon. In the coming weeks and months we will be shining the spotlight on incumbents on a state-by-state basis. We begin 2021 by looking at the states of Pennsylvania, Georgia, and Arizona.
State-by-State Rundown
Pennsylvania
1/2/2021: The 2020 General Election in Pennsylvania had the components of being one of the most lawless in the nation. Some members of the legislature have been working tirelessly to right this situation. On December 30, 2020 a number of legislators from both houses sent a letter to Congressman Kevin McCarthy, the Republican Leader of the U.S. House of Representatives. Through their concern for honesty and justice, the signers of this letter have ensured that they will not be among those primaried in 2022. There is still time (though very little) for other legislators to act with courage and concern for justice.
This Pennsylvania boy from Indiana County might provide some inspiration for Pennsylvania legislators (and legislators from other states as well).
Georgia
1/2/2021: Competing with Pennsylvania for the distinction of conducting the most lawless General Election in 2020 is Georgia. If the legislators mentioned in this article continue to stand strong with the goal of remedying alleged fraud in the 2020 General Election, then they will have virtually guaranteed that they will not be primaried in 2022.
Arizona
1/2/2021: The members of the Arizona Senate Judiciary Committee who voted in the affirmative to subpoena the election equipment of Maricopa County for a forensic audit have virtually guaranteed that they will not be be met with strong primary competition in 2022. Representative Finchem is another courageous Arizona legislator who should have no concern about a primary challenge. There are more legislators, and they will be added to the list of those who should not have to be concerned about a primary challenge once they are determined.
